Happy Birthday, Clark!

Since Anne's laser tag party was such a success, we headed back to celebrate Clark's birthday! I was going to take pictures inside, but it was way too dark. Here is the Briefing Area:

Ben and I played Dance Dance Revolution at the arcade!

Afterwards, back to Clark and Anne's for partytime! Here, Joe and Dave rock out to Guitar Hero while Nate and Amber look on.

Ryan and I compared our facial contorting abilities. We can both do the upwards-to-the-left lip curl:

But Ryan can reverse it!! I cannot do the upwards-to-the-right version.

I can raise both of my eyebrows individually, but Ryan can lift both of his at the SAME TIME!!! Amazing.

Mexican Tequila! Olé!

Robot Time!!! Me:

Back to Guitar Hero! Allie and Ben are INTENSE!

The End! Happy Birthday, Clark!

Propel Punch!

Today I picked up the third and final flavor of the new Propel powder packets — Kiwi Strawberry. And then a brilliant idea struck me. MIX ALL THREE TOGETHER IN A PITCHER. Doing so made a delicious pitcher full of propel punch!! Highly recommended. I went through three pitchers of the stuff in two days.

Chocolate Covered Orange Flavored Marshmallow Pumpkins

This week, Tracy brought in a giant box of Hershey's Chocolate Covered Orange Flavored Marshmallow Pumpkins. His friends at the bookstore gave them to him to give away because they were taking them off the shelves.

I don't particularly like orange and chocolate together, and this particular combination sounded especially sick. But worth a shot!

The product:

Right off the bat, we noticed that it did not look like a pumpkin, it looked like balls. Not appetizing.

Ben's was optimistic about his first bite. He thought "This might not be so bad."

But then the true flavor hit him. Disgusting.

NOT DELICIOUS.

EW!

However, he thought the chocolate coating was delicious, so he resigned himself to finishing the whole pumpkin in order to enjoy the chocolate bits.

My turn!

Tasting!

Sick. Although the chocolate coating WAS delicious, the orange flavored marshmallow innards were revolting and I couldn't eat another bite.

The results: Ben is a braver man than I.

Propel Powder!!!!!

The moment I have been waiting for for YEARS has finally arrived!! Propel now comes in a POWDER FORM. This means that I can buy a box of Propel powder at the store, and have it in my cupboard, at my disposal, for WHENEVER I SHOULD HAPPEN TO NEED IT.

I have wished for this for many days. I have hoped for this for many nights. I can't even begin to describe how excited I am that this day is finally upon us! And of course, a moment this monumental would not slip past without a photo essay.

The boxes of Propel Powder. So far, it is only available in Lemon, Berry, and Kiwi-Strawberry. I chose Lemon and Berry to taste first:

Look! They come in little individual serving pouches!

Pouring the powder into the glass. You're supposed to use 16.9 ounces of water but we used just under 16.

Time to taste them!

TASTING!

OH MY GOD IT IS SO DELICIOUS.

LOVE IT! Duh!

**UPDATE!!** 2/16/07 Last night Ben and I decided to try mixing the Lemon and the Berry flavors TOGETHER. Oh my god it was so delicious Ican'ttevenbeginttotalkaboutit.

Valentine's Party & Alter Ego Dance Party!

Tonight was a busy night! Vana, Joe and Rob all have birthdays this week, so they had a Dance Party to celebrate. The theme was to dress as your alter ego. I figured it would be a good time to wear my cupid dress!

Especially because before the Dance Party, we went to Emily's for a Valentines Making Party! Definitely the perfect occasion to wear my cupid dress. The party was great. Emily made all sorts of adorable snacks. Little sandwiches, tiny cupcakes, bacon-wrapped-water-chestnuts, etc! YUM!

There were all sorts of art supplies for us to work with. Ben and I ended up making Vana a birthday card instead of a Valentine. After the Valentines Party, we headed to the Dance Party! There, I shotgunned my first beer ever! It wasn't as bad as I had imagined it would be! Then we danced the night away.

Happy Birthday, Vana!

Tonight, a group of us gathered at Casa to have dinner in celebration of Vana's birthday! However, when we got there, they informed us that they would be closing at 8 because of the weather! We got a pitcher of margaritas and wondered what to do instead.

We decided to order some Avalanche pizzas, pick up a birthday cake, and play games at my house. So we played a bunch of Dance Dance Revolution and ate pizzas and tons of dessert. Also, we raced the 1 Badd Rides. It was a fun spontaneous birthday adventure!
